As a child, stories would come to my mind as easily as water flowing down a stream. Telling a story almost seemed like an innate calling placed inside of me. So much joy that I have experienced has come from the ability to tell stories.

Naturally, I began to venture down a creative path. I began to create anything and everything. From designing graphics to writing stories and poems, my mind always flowed down the path to display the beauty that had been placed in front of me.

There is joy surrounding us every single day. I believe it is up to us to find the beauty woven through the little moments that tend to fly by in our minds. We must slow down, notice everything that is around us, and enjoy the ride.

Simple Beginnings

I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, before iPhones were invented, and when many children still found the awe and wonder of playing outside. I often found myself entertained by my three siblings, and we were always giving my parents a run for their money.

However, I have always been drawn to the simple things, such as drawing a picture that portrays a moment that meant a lot to me, or illustrating my own picture book. I would create stories in my mind before I could read the words on a page. I loved arts and crafts, constantly piecing little moments together.

I always struggled to find my place in school. I felt too mature for the other kids around me, but I was not old enough to understand the perception of adults. I found comfort in writing and journaling.

As I got older, I began to focus heavily on sports. I began swimming every single day and competing almost every other weekend. The wonder and awe that I experienced as a child began to fade away.

I enjoyed swimming, but after high-school, the joy that I experienced from sports did not light a fire within me as it once did. I found myself longing to create. Slowly, but surely, the creative outlets that I once found comfort in, came back to me and became a beautiful ritual of life.

Moving Fowards

As I finish up my final years of college, creativity has become a part of who I am. I am naturally drawn to beautiful aesthetics and being able to identify the beauty in places that seem desolate. I now know that the most wonderful discoveries appear in the places that we least expect it to.

I have a deep passion for small businesses and for bringing creative visions to life. For my professional career, I market small businesses through writing, content, and by capturing beautiful moments that make dreams worth chasing. I desire to tell stories that bring people together and to create a connection that could never be replaced.

I have found inspiration through architectural masterpieces, beautiful artwork, and by spending time in nature. The simplicity of the natural world reminds me of how much beauty surrounds us just from being alive. I use these sources of inspiration to create from a place of abundance.

Piecing together the scraps that have been left for others to find has led me to find appreciation in anything and everything. Creative work starts with a vision, but one must have the persistence to bring a vision to life. The natural gifts that I have been given have led me to the passion to help others that have beautiful visions.

Finding Joy in Everyday

Writing has become a part of who I am. Spilling words onto a page helps me capture the awe and wonder that surrounds me everywhere I look. In a world of constant noise, it is challenging to focus on the present moment, to be grateful for the little joys of being alive.

Sitting in my favorite coffee shop and watching the lives of others makes me realize that everyone has different dreams, goals, and hopes for where their lives are headed. Everyone’s life is so incredibly individual, and being able to use my gifts to help others is the goal of all of the work that I invest myself into.
